Lovely spring fairy.
Such nice detail and well made little doll. Has survived being played with by an 18 month old. Gorgeous detail to add to our nature table.
A bright and colourful addition to our spring table. Lovely quality.
A beautiful little flower fairy, perfect for a spring celebration ring or nature table.
I received my first order of 5 Ambrosius dolls today. I had been aprehensive about what to expect; quality and size wise.. I really needed have been. On opening my package I was instantly impressed. The craftsmanship of the dolls is remarkable., and the attention to detail is impressive. The dolls are larger than I had anticipated, but are easily dwarfed by larger items, which makes it difficult to reflect their true size.
Their arms are moveable and as they are handmade, each is slightly different. I feel they are much nicer in person than the stock photos have captured.
These were purchased as a gift for a 2 year old little girl, who is very gentle at play. The dolls are delicatel but Sterdy. I don't think they would withstand A lot of heavy play, or 'mouthing', if a younger child is still orally fixated but they offer a variation of texture and approach to play, so could be beneficial for a broad age range. (I appreciate this is subjective and 100% down to parents to decide)
I do think they are on the top end of their price bracket, but if you are thinking about getting some I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed.
