All Ostheimer toys are handcrafted in Germany on a very high quality level. The soft edged form and the soft colours are typical, therefore each piece is completely unique thanks to the beautiful natural properties of wood.

In the interaction with the reduced toy form, children learn to enliven the wooden figures and to use their one fantasy.

The beautiful hand carved creations are formed from sustainable hardwoods, such as maple and ash and painted with non-toxic water-based colours. All Ostheimer toys are strictly up to the high European Safety Norm EN71 for Toys

DISCLAIMER: All our items are handmade out of solid wood and hand painted. Not all issues are a lack of quality, but a natural circumstance that the material wood and handwork brings with it. Some dents can occur during the transport. Natural tree bark could become loose, because we do not fix the bark with glue. Wood is a natural material and has a tendency to fluctuate in volume and warping can be caused many factors, we can not assure 100% alignment.
