Assembling the colourful wooden cogwheels on the tableau is only half the fun. Only when the big blue wheel is cranked does it become clear whether the plan has worked – are all the wheels turning? And most importantly, in which direction are they rotating? The illustrations have been carefully chosen so that the running cogwheels create a "complete artwork": Learning should always be this creative and playful.
Perfect for little ones who like to explore how things work
My 14mo loves working out how things work and turning things. I was surprised how quickly he managed to figure this out but he still loves playing with it all the time
Fab toy to have. We have it over a year and it is still played with by my 3.5 year old. He enjoys making up new ways to put the cogs in.
My 2.5 year old loves these! He figured out the basic way to put them down pretty quick so we do challenges with them (only use cogs that have blue on them etc) so you really can find different ways to play with it.
This is a cute little toy (actually quite big in size!), which for the price is a bit of a gem. It's good fun for preschool aged children, although I'm not sure how long it'll hold their interest, once they've worked out how the cogs interact. Of course, some children will love toys like this - but maybe others might lose interest after a while. Nevertheless, it's a great gift at a great price
