Angel Shark - Hand-Painted Animal Figure

Intriguingly similar to a ray or skate, the Angel Shark glides gracefully through the water, easily identified by its unique flat-shaped body. By day, these nocturnal hunters settle into the depths of up to 150 metres, lying just beneath the sandy surface in wait. At night, their superb vision allows them to strike with precision, becoming the ultimate ambush predators.

The Angel Shark can live for up to 35 years, weighs around 77 pounds and grows to approximately two metres long. The species has now been classified as critically endangered.
