Every year over 8 million tons of non-biodegradable plastic enters our oceans. With partners help we remove these plastics and transform them into rPET. Resulting in cleaner oceans and new life for plastics.
Rigid plastics are removed from the oceans. They are cleaned then crushed into flakes. These are then dried and melted into pellets. The pellets are melted, coloured and spun. The thread is used to make our eco accessories.
Micro Scooter are proud to be the UK’s first carbon neutral scooter retailer. We are exploring every area of our business to reduce our impact on the environment. Thank you for supporting us in these efforts.
Micro Scooter use FSC certified paper on all their eco accessories and are taking the steps to roll this out to every accessory we produce. Small steps but with huge ambition to do as much as we can to keep things rolling for this generation and the next.
